Andy B & THE VOODUDES -- THAT RAGIN' CAJUN SOUND

Friday, December 2: Ocean Club, Corner of Simon Lake Drive and 1st Avenue at the Marina, Atlantic Highlands, NJ at 9 PM. We understand that the views from the Ocean Club across Sandy Hook Bay are fantastic (as is the chow in this joint). The club is also participating with New Jersey 101.5 dj Big Joe Henry's toy drive for evacuee children. So bring along an unwrapped toy for the cause. 732.291.8700. THERE IS NO COVER!

Saturday, December 10: Richies Sports Bar, Vineyard Road (behind the old Ford plant on Route 1 North), Edison, NJ at 10 PM. As Stephen Stills once said "there's something happening here..." Richies has launched a music policy involving jam and roots bands, which has gotten them some national press. And yet they remain an unpretentious, quintessential neighborhood bar. Here's a great opportunity to have a few cold ones and listen to us stretch out. And Middlesex County DUDESheads can even catch a cheap cab ride. This one is highly recommended. NO COVER! 732.287.1318/ http://www.richiessportsbar.com/.

Stay tune for further info on New Year's Eve at South Orange-Maplewood, NJ First Night. There may also be a surprise holiday gig sneaked in for you pleasure.

Get the whole DUDES and nothing but The 'DUDES at http://www.thevoodudes.net/  (you can always check there for latebreaking gigs).  Direct all questions or comments to andyb@thevoodudes.net  or call 732.249.5892.

We humbly remind you that available days for warm weather events are just about gone.  If you're thinking of The VooDUDES for something special, the time to act is now!  On the other hand, we're more than willing to talk about cold weather, indoor festivities as well.  We've also starting booking into 2006, so don't be put off about discussing wintertime or  Mardi Gras events.  JUST CALL US!!!

being used frequently since it became popular, but the debut of Yardena y Son Ladino, is in essence, true world music.  Yardena’s unique vocal style bridges her Jewish roots with Mediterranean/Middle Eastern influences (from Moorish North Africa, Greece, the Balkans and Turkey) that were handed down to her from her Mother and added to the habanera and some other great Cuban rhythms, as well as flamenco to make this CD a special treat.
