a TV Sitcom Pilot by Maureen Nevin of Asbury Radio fame.

Anyone who has heard Maureen's program Thursday nights on WYGG 88.1 FM knows that Asbury Park personalities are never at a loss for something to say about what goes on in their home town.

"OCEAN MILE -- The Deal" is no exception.

The audience is asked to present the other characters who'll bring to life subsequent episodes.

After 15 years of economic captivity at the hands of an out-of-state bankruptcy court, the beleaguered residents of Ocean Mile, NJ have a developer who promises to break the spell. A parade of savvy old timers and hopeful new comers drop into Rhoda's Deli, in the shadow of the skeletal hull of a hi-rise condo tower frozen in time when the last hot market crashed through town 20 years ago.
